Rachael Namalero:

"Thank you so much for your efforts in sponsoring me. During the holidays I spent time with the family, helped to clean our compound and washed utensils. Our Christmas time was very good. We went for prayers at Wakayambar. We enjoyed the Christmas meal of rice, matoke, Irish and meat and chicken This year I am in primary four Uncle Noah Mbaziira is my class teacher together with Nicholas Kasacha our now math teacher. please pray for me to get more wisdom and knowledge. May God bless you so much."

"I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. How are you nowadays? On my side I am fine! Thank you for the letter you sent to me. I saw the pictures you sent, and they were so wow! Thank you very much! The Easter verse was so encouraging and life giving to me. I have enjoyed it so much. I, also enjoyed the Easter time and I hope you enjoyed it as well. I spent the time with my family and with my friends in the evening time. So much is happening at school now like athletics, doing of end of term examinations and I am praying to God that He helps me to perform well in my  exams. Bible verse: 1 Corinthians 1:18, 'For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.' May God bless you abundantly. I Love you so much. From your loving daughter, Racheal."

Daniel Nuwahereza:

“I greet you in Jesus' name. I appreciate you for sponsoring me. I did performed well in my end of year exams. I am now in primary five. Now we have a new teacher, Uncle Kasakya Nicholas. He teaches us mathematics. During Christmas we ate matooke, rice, meat and chicken and we celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ. I spent my Christmas with my father and mother. Our father is not well. He is at the hospital. He is sick. In the holiday I planted plants like casava, sweet potato, and coffee. I would like to share this verse with you in the  Book of John 15:4-5: “Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine. You are branches I am the vine you are branches whoever abides in me and I in him be it is that bears much fruit for apart from me you can do nothing.’"

"I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and appreciate you for sponsoring me. I am so much grateful to be in school studying. I am doing very well and I spent my Easter holy day in a good state by God’s grace. We had good Easter meals. We went to church and had  good moments of prayer, worship and praising of the Lord. Indeed, I had a good time to remember and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ during the Easter period. Thank you for the Easter verse you sent to me. It has greatly encouraged me. Thanks for the Easter pictures you sent to me. They look so cool! Greet Zoe and Jonathan for me! I hope one day they will come to Uganda and we can have a moment of interaction together. Bible verses: Psalm 27:1, ‘The Lord is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear?’ and Galatians 6:9-10, ‘Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.’ From your lovely son, Daniel"

LIV. (Kona Pregnancy Center):  LIV provides excellent free pregnancy services, women's health appointments and support for women and families in our community. We serve many women who are considered to be in vulnerable or at-risk life situations or are facing unplanned pregnancies.

Island-wide we've had over 583 client visits, 374 ultrasounds and 268 pregnancy tests. Last year We saw many women who were initially seeking abortion but decided to keep their babies after their appointment with us. Out of 228 positive pregnancy appointments last year, over 216 expressed their intention to keep their babies by the end of their appointment!

The resources you send go to our general operating needs such as overhead, rent, and supplies for our 3 office locations.

This has been an amazing year for LIV as an organization. We are seeing incredible results in the community and are continuing to grow and expand services and availability. In 2023, we were able to extend our women's general health appointments to all three locations partnering with different providers across the Island. We've seen many women give their lives to Jesus across the island. We believe we will see even greater levels of fruit and transformation in 2024. Mahalo for you generous support and prayers!
